The Other R: Reusing Your Plastic Bottles
November 21st 2008 by Dr.MOZ in Home, Recycling, garden
It’s great to recycle your plastic bottles and even better to reduce your consumption of them in the first place, but what about reusing them? Fred has a nifty new ergonomic handle called Twist and Spout design to screw-on to virtually all used water and soda bottles that could be just what Dr.MOZ ordered! Twist and Spout is great for watering your indoor and outdoor plants, feeding the dog, or
just about anywhere your little helpers could use a firm grip on a bottle.
I’d love to see them manufactured with recycled plastic (and without the plastic packaging), but anything that helps families get a few more uses out of those bottles before they are eventually recycled is a great step in the right direction! Does your family have a fun tip for reusing plastic bottles in the home? If so, share it by clicking on the comments bubble above.
Have fun and stay healthy,

Great idea for recycling bottles! This might be a useful tool to help the elderly pour large quart bottles as well. Cool find Doc!

I’m glad you liked it Dee. You’re absolutely right about this being a helping hand for seniors. More than one slippery quart bottle has slipped out of my hands, so I guess I could use the help as well!
